Insulating Glass is a kind of new building material with good heat insulation, noise insulation, aesthetics appearance, and can reduce the self-weight of the building. Combined by two or more pieces of glass and filled with dry air or other inert gases, the insulating glass is produced through the process of being putting the aluminum frame filled with desiccant between the two pieces of glass and sealed with sealant. The primary role of the hollow is to reduce the environmental heat exchange on both sides of the vitreous body. It has the obvious energy-saving effect, and sometimes it is also called as heat insulating glass or sound insulating glass.
Performance and characteristics
Energy-saving, heat insulation effect
The heat dissipation of single air layer insulating glass is low, and its coefficient of heat transfer is 2.68kcal/m2.hr.c, and that of energy-saving is 2.4W;
The thermal insulation of dual air layer insulating glass is good; heat transfer coefficient: 1.66kcal/m2.hr.c, energy-saving coefficient: 3.3W;
If charging argon and other inert gases into the middle, it can further improve the insulation performance of the product. If being vacuumed in the middle through a special process, the product can be upgraded to vacuum glass and its insulating property is better.
Sound effect
Noise insulating performance of the insulating glass is better than that of the single glass, and insulating glass can filter and remove noise for 27-35 dB by testing.
Anti-condensation effect
The inner air layer in the middle of the hollow can prevent condensation;
If the original glass of the insulating glass is produced from the conductive film glass or conductive tempered glass by using the international advanced technology called on-line magnetron sputtering, power control can make glass inner surface temperature be 8-10ºCdifferent from the ambient temperature, which removes the condensation on the surface and keep the items inside the glass case be seen clearly.

With PVC mesh or metal mesh inside, the insulating glass can be made into the colorful and multi-shaped grid hollow glass.
