Product Description
SLAS-04BD series intelligent Digital Audio Backup Switcher isspecially designed to meet the need of audio editing andbroadcasting, it is widely used in editing departments, broadcastsystems, over management systems and launch systems of radiostations of all levels.
SLAS-04BD houses 4 AES/EBU digital inputs, 3 AES/EBU digitaloutputs, and 1 analog stereo monitoring output, its front panel canalso output analog earphone monitor with volume adjustable. Thereal-time output can be displayed on LCD screen.
The system offers an automatic and a manual operation optional. The switch among modes is done by TAK key on the panel. Automaticcontrol is chosen as preset, at the same time, the TAK key is on; When the control is manually centered, the TAK key is off.
Under automatic control, channel 1 is the main channel, andchannel 2 is the backup channel. When there is no signal in channel1 or when the volume keeps low over 8 seconds, the system willautomatically switch to channel 2 as output channel, and a buzzeralarm will remind you of the change. On recovery of the mainchannel, the system will automatically switch to channel 1 asoutput, and the alarm will be dismissed.
