It is one of iodine disinfector. The ingredient, 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone acting as surfactant, help solution to moisten and penetrate the object, so as to strength the bactericidal action of iodine. Study show that it can kill the bacteria by destroying the permeability barrier of cell membrane to make the nucleic acid leaking and enzyme activity decreasing. it has broad-spectrum disinfection and sterilization effect on bacteria, fungi, respiratory and intestinal tract virus.
