What is the Colour Coding System?
Colour coding is an intuitive visual coding system which enables the operator to choose immediately the appropriate equipment to clean the different areas. In other words, each area is marked with a specific color ( blue, yellow, red and green ) according to the risk of bacterial cross-contamination. Consequently, the colors characterize the equipment
That has to be used for each specific area.
Why blue?
It indicates common areas where the risk is not high.
Why yellow?
It indicates areas where bacteria cross-contamination is possible.
Why red?
It indicates areas with high bacteria contamination risk
Why green?
It indicates food service areas.
