Product Description
Low-E is a pyrolytic, low Emissivity glass. The Low-E coating is applied on a substrate of clear float glass by a pyrolytic process called online CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) method. In winter, the aim of the coating is to reflect the heat back to inside of the building to prevent heat loss and keep the indoor climate at an even temperature.
In summer, the coating will reduce the amount of re-radiated heat into the building thereby keeping indoor cooler. Total heat gain is reduced.

Product Applications
Low-E has multiple applications in residential and commercial buildings, and also domestic electric appliances like ovens and refrigerator doors thanks to its neutral appearance and high light transmission. The metal oxide coating contributes to the thermal insulating properties of windows & doors, and it reduces the indoors energy consumption.
Combination with reflective / tinted glass glazed on the external pane (IGU), it provides excellent solar shading.
Low-e also can be used in industrial field. Such as: Ovens, refrigerator doors, liquor cabinet, beverage display cabinet, disinfection cabinet and other various commercial display cabinets.
Remarks:
1. In the case of Low-E + Clear Float Glass IGU, coating surface of position 2 or position 3 is recommended.
2. In the case of Low-E + Tinted Glass IGU, coating surface of position 3 is recommended.
