CQMST undertakes magnesium research & Development projects within the National "Tenth Five-year Plan" on Scientific Research and Development Scheme and the National 863 Scheme for New Structural Materials as well as Chongqing Scientific Research and Development Schemes on magnesium.
CQMST has established 1 National Standard, 4 Industry Standards and registered 30 patents(Incl. 10 Invention Patents). CQMST was established on Apr. 19, 2001, with total registered funds of RMB 51 million Yuan and assets of RMB 200 million Yuan(Incl. Fixed assets of RMB 116 million Yuan).
CQMST can provide with 4.5 million pieces of high quality magnesium die-castings, 2000 tons of variouswrought magnesium and 3000 tons of magnesium annually.
