1. Introduction:
The marine steam boiler is a horizontal smoke-tube boiler. The oil fired section consists of a water cooled furnace, a smoke tube convection section as well as a water space and a steam space.

All steel plates are shot blasted and primes, and before shipment the boiler is given a shop coat of anti-corrosion paint in order to provide it with a temporary protection against weather.

The boiler is designed and manufactured to comply with latest requirements of the classification societies CCS and will be delivered with the certificates.
