Product Description
The SPR is based on the fluidized bed process where carriers are used to immobilize microorganisms on their surface for biological wastewater treatment. It provides an active surface of 600 m² /m³ And is therefore one of the most efficient carrier on the global market for biological wastewater treatment systems. Under certain conditions, it offers degradation rates up to 5 times higher than "conventional" carriers can provide. Even with the treatment of effluents which are difficult to be treated (i. e. Coke oven effluent), it provides reliable and high process consistency in COD/BOD degradation, nitrification and denitrification.
