1. Introduction

Meta-aramid fibre is a polymetaphenylene isophthalic amide fibre which exhibits high performance in many fields.

2. Propertise

It is a new material resistant to high temperature and insulated against electricity:

** Heat Resistance, can be used in high temperature than other fibers.

** Flame Resistance, LOI of aramid 1313 is over 30%. Its is a flame retardant fiber that will not burn, melt or drip.

** Good Insulating Properties, Its high dielectric strength enable Class-H(up to 180degree. C) insulating paper to be manufactured from it, giving wide applications.

** Resistance to Chemicals

** Good textile properties, meta-aramid fiber`s low stiffness and high elongation give excellent textile-like properties and characteristics, allowing processing on all types of conventional textile equipments. The staple version can be processed into yarns.
