Our products have three characteristics compared with the like products in domestic,
I)side glaze craft has unique characteristics, first use of high-resistance layer side glaze to coat, high-temperature sintering, then coat with a layer of glass glaze to arrange heat treatment (as Figure 1). This ensure high current withstand and ageing characteristics. Our products are applicable to be assembled in a variety of medium.
Ii)Our zinc oxide varistors are applicable for both AC and DC, in domestic our product is the sole product which AC&DC common use.
Iii)Our company successfully developed the high-gradient zinc oxide varistors, we have completed the stage of technology transfer and have put into a small batch production. The potential gradient of high-gradient zinc oxide varistors can reach 300-400V/mm.

We have been researching and developing metal oxide varistor since 1979, and have been manufacturing metal oxide varistor and Lightning surge arrester since 1983. Our company has obtained the quality system certification of ISO9001. All of our products have measured up to requirement of international electric technical standard IEC60099-4.3kV to 36kV Surge Arrester has passed through Holland KEMA test.
Our company has the productivity yearly of 4.6 million D21mm-D138mm high-voltage zinc oxide varistors(MOV), 5.0 million (0.22kV-1000kV) metal oxide surge arresters(MOA).

Our company registered capital of 60 million HK dollars, the existing total assets is 337 million RMB. We are a Sino foreign joint venture, with four modern workshops for production and assembling. Total area of building is 4680 square meters. We have one 750kV test hall and one 1000kV test hall, and 2000kV impulse test device. We have the ability of design, research and development, manufacturing and quality inspection, marketing independently.
We began to research and develop zinc oxide varistor and metal oxide surge arrester since the year 1979. Now we have the annual production capacity of D32 to D128 AC, DC zinc oxide varistors 4.5 million pieces; AC 0.22kV to 1000kV metal oxide surge arrester 500000 pieces; DC plusmn; 800kV EHV(extra high voltage) surge arrester 50000 pieces; Surge counter 60000 pieces. All products pass through ISO9001, German TUV quality system certification and ISO14001 environmental system certification. Our 3 to 36kV polymer housed surge arrester, 110kV and 220kV porcelain housed surge arrester, and 500kV porcelain surge arrester have passed Holland KEMA tests.
According to the statistics from Chinese national authority branch, our metal oxide surge arresters share more than 35% domestic market for fifteen years, including 500kV surge arrester market share is above 50% and more than 5000 phases running on grids; (110 to 220)kV surge arrester market share is above 43% and more than 180000 phases running on grids. (35 to 500)kV current transformer and voltage transformer market share is above 12% and more than 3800 phases running on grids.
In 2011, the company won the bib of 1000kV Jindongnan to Nanyang-Jinmen EHV AC expansion project, now our 1000kV surge arresters are running in this network safely. In 2012, the company won the bib of Anhui power to East 1000kV Huainan to Shanghai EHV AC project, 750kV West-north two channel power transmission project and East-north power grid 500kV transmission line project.
We have strong technical force, there is a provincial technology center and a national post-doctoral scientific research station. We have employees 326 people, technicians 101 people, including 37 professionals with senior or advanced title. On July 14, 2012, four typical surge arresters self developed by our company for ± 800kV EHV DC. Transmission line: Value arrester, bus arrester, metal loop arrester and lightning arrester for AC filter, they passed through the identification of National Energy Bureau and China Machinery Industry Federation. Our DC products reach the international advanced level.
