Mode Conditioning Patchcord
BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Mode Conditioning Patchcord (MCP), also known as Gigabit Launch Patchcord, is used inlongwave/long haul (LX/LH) Gigabit Interface Converter (GBICs) with multi mode fiber. Without using MCP, multiple signals are generated when a singlemode laser launch into the center of a multi mode fiber. This would result in pulse broadening or Differential Model Delay (DMD) effects which degrade the modal bandwidth of fiber cable and limit the link span (the distance between the transmitter and receiver) for operating Gigabit application. MCP provides an offset singlemode to multi mode fiber connector point that eliminates the effect of DMD by launching the singlemode laser into multi mode core at a specified offset.

OEM and training services can be provided upon request. We began as a school-run factory and now widely recognized as a pioneer in the field.

When the National Research Institute of Telecommunications completed the first trial fiber-optic connector in China, we became a designated manufacturer. Our double status as a learning institution and a production center provided the perfect accommodations for this important project. An experienced taskforce of technicians had worked round the clock to put the new technology into production. Months of dedication and countless trials allowed us to successfully implement the prototype technology into finished products. Extensive collaboration with research centers enabled us to yield the first-ever domestically produced fiber-optic connector. This achievement marked the beginning of a new era for the Chinese optical communications industry.

We have established a production base in Jiangxi for the focused production of fiber-optic connectors and adapters. In 2005, we built a production facility for jumpers and attenuators in Shenzhen. Its establishment was complimented with the addition of an independently operated sales center and R&D institute.
