Drillstarch(modified starch iol drilling grade)
Drillstarch is a non-fermenting starch used to control filtration in water based muds.
A. Application:
Drillstarch primarily provides filtration control in all water base drilling fluids.
B. Recommended Treatment:
The average treatment level with drillstarch for filtration control is 6 to 17 kg/m3 to 6 ppb). A concentration of 11-20 kg/m3 (4-7 ppb) will provide good base properties when used as a primary colloid in low solids muds. Biocide treatment is recommended along with drillstarch application.

Drillstarch does not have a restricted classification for transportation by international or domestic regulatory agencies.
