Product Overview:
AX2220 Series is high performance and cost competitive multi format audio player and recorder SoC designed for applications such as music boombox, portable megaphone, recording pen, learning player and Bluetooth boombox products. It equips with decoders to play MP3, WMA and WAV audio files. It integrates USB controller for OTG and supports card reader, HID, USB audio and USB MIC input. With AppoTech Bluetooth chipset, it supports Bluetooth audio source. The chipset provides clear FM reception. AX2220 can record audio signal into MP3 format. The vivid analog audio is outputted through the 16-bit stereo DAC with high SNR.
The highly integrated IC design makes AX2220 to be competitive. It supports low power clock for time display. AX2220 does not need external oscillator for operation and it can provide clock signal to external FM receiver IC. Thus the total system cost is decreased and the application design can be minimized.
The application development of AX2220 is eased by its ISD online emulation through UART interface.
