Product Description
Biomass Gasification with syngas Engine - 2MW Syngas Power Plant
The basic principle of our biomass gasification system is to convert agriculture and forestry products and wood processing remains (including rick husks, wood powder, branches, offcuts, corn straws, rice straws, wheat straws, cotton straws, fruit shells, coconut shells, palm shells, bagasse, corncobs,) into combustible gas . It is then used as fuel in syngas engine to generate electricity. Biomass gasification successfully conquers the disadvantages of biomass, such as low flammability and wide diversity. Biomass gasification system is characteristic of small land requirement and environment friendly. It's one of the most effective way of biomass utilization.
Our biomass gasification process includes three steps. The First step is biomass gasification, which convert
biomass into syngas. The Second step is syngas purification. The producer gas coming from gasifier usually
contains contaminants including dust, coke, tar and etc. The contaminants will be removed by the purification system to ensure normal operation of gas engine. The Third step is power generating in gas engine. The high temperature exhaust gas may be reused by waste heat boiler to generate steam or hot water for civil or industrial use). Steam turbine may also be considered to make a gas-steam combined cycle power plant, which will increase the total efficiency.
Our modularization-designed gasification system is applicable for the biomass power plant ranging from 100KW to 5000KW. Shengdong synggas engine and Siemens generator are chosen in our gas generator sets (100KW, 200KW, 500KW, 800KW, 1000KW, 1200KW, 2000KW). Fix bed gasification system or fluidized bed gasification system may be chosen according to different feedstock characteristics. (single system capacity ranging from 100KW to 2MW).
Shengdong gas, diesel, HFO, Crude oil fuelled engines, ranging from 0.1 to 2.0 MW, are designed for stationary, continuous duty operation. Known for their high efficiencies, low emissions, durability, and high reliability, the engines run on natural gas or a variety of other gases including biogas, landfill gas, coal mine gas, sewage gas, combustible industrial waste gases.
Shengdong develops two distinct plant designs: Enclosure based or a power house, depending on location, tenure of the contracts and installed capacity.
As a famous internal combustion engine manufacturer in the world, their all kinds of gas/diesel/HFO and crude oil engines are widely used in biogas system, gasification system, landfill system and gas and diesel, HFO, Crude oil fuelled power plant. They have EPC capacity, give the enduser engineering design and all support.
MARKET APPLICATIONS
Distributed Generation
In scenarios where the delivery of electricity to a city or region is restricted by inadequate or inefficient transmission lines, a utility company may determine the amount of additional electricity required at a particular location to avoid blackouts. Distributed generation provides an efficient and secure method of delivering additional electricity at a local level and can help improve the overall efficiency of the customer's electrical system. As the local demand increases, more power modules can easily be deployed to augment the installed capacity on site.
Industrial Generation
Industrial companies and mining facilities operating independently often require a dedicated source of electricity. An unreliable supply from a local grid or limited access to the main transmission network may impair the delivery of electricity required for the customer to sustain production and operations. Industrial and mining customers are dependent upon constant power to ensure that maximum operational capacity is achieved and costly plant outages are avoided.
Emergency Power
The need for fast-track capacity is often due to the inadequacy of an existing supply. Such situations can be driven by the failure of a power plant, natural disaster, weather phenomenon, or some other unforeseen catastrophe.
Peak Shaving
In markets where the demand for electricity exceeds the available power generation capacity, utilities need to consider the practicalities of load management and load shedding during peak demand times of the day.
Service
IPP
Independent Power Producer: SHENGDONG builds, owns and operates ("BOO") the asset with supply of electricity to either a private and public off-taker. The key underlying contracts of an "IPP project" is the entering into a gas sales agreement (feedstock) between the operator and the gas supplier and a Power Purchase Agreement between the offtake and the operator whereby the power price is inclusive of gas cost. Under an IPP arrangement, there is no transfer of the facility to the buyer at the end of the term of the IPP contract.
BOOT
Build, Own, Operate and Transfer: SHENGDONG builds, owns, operates and, at the end of the term of the agreement, transfers the asset to the counterparty, either public or private. In comparison to an IPP project, the Owner/Operator is not responsible for feedstock and gas is referred to as "pass through", the obligation and financial responsibility of the energy buyer.
BOO
Build, Own, and Operate: Under a BOO, the producer converts gas supplied by the buyer to electricity, whereby the gas passes through the producers facility and the energy produced is charged at a tolling rate.
Rental
Rental: Similar to a BOO, the contractor will rent the equipment/facility and typically operates and maintains the equipment/facility, as a service, and will charge the off-taker either a flat rate per day, week or month fee or at a rate pursuant to the amount of electricity supplied in kWh.
