Softshell bonding fabric is a highly technical sportswear fabric that is becoming more and more popular when used in soft shell jackets - quickly replacing old materials such as Gore-Tex.
Softshell bonding fabric uses advanced stretch woven fabrics and tight layered weaves, combined with durable water repellent treatments to create a fabric that can protect against wind, rain and snow in all but the most extreme weather conditions.
On top of this great wind and water resistance, soft shell is also breathable and flexible. You can create a great fitting garment that won't constrict your movement and will help prevent sweating.
Softshell bonding fabric is currently mainly used in very technical climbing and skiing clothing, but is being increasingly used in more fashionable jackets
