Function of HB2502
HB2502 is one kind of additive which is necessary when there is no mark or the mark is unclear for plastic products in laser marking process. It could make the mark clear, attractive and durable and would not fade because of physical or chemical effects.
Application range
The small hazy marks would become quite clear by adding HB2502 in black plastic. It is mainly applied to products like PP, PE, PC, PA, ABS, HIPS, PBT, PET, PVC, POM, TPU, TPE, etc.

Applied laser marking system
HB-2502 could be applied in both 355-1064nm-laser-wavelength marking system and 10600nm-laser wavelength CO2 marking system. YAG and optical fiber system (355-1064nm)are recommended.
Method of using
« After simple mixing, HB2502 and the target material could be prilled in extruder, during which process, the processing technology and parameter remain and then be molded to products with the blow molding, injection molding and extrusion molding technology.
« HB2502 and the target material could be directly put into injection molding process after dry-blending.
« HB2502 could be used with color master batch, dyes or pigments during the process of producing pellets and injection molding, including white, (pale) yellow, (wathet) blue, (light) red, gray, etc.
Dosage
« 0.5-3wt%, adding by marking depth.
« Recommended additive amount 1.0-2.0wt%
