Polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride (PHMB) is a new guanidine disinfectants, compared with the existing guanidine disinfectant such as chlorhexidine and single polyhexamethylene guanidine, PHMB having advantages such as more broader-spectrum, safer, and more effective. It can be widely used in daily chemical industry, water treatment, healthcare and other fields. It is commonly used in lotions for women, biocide mildewcide of hygiene wipes, disinfection of fruit, aquatic products, livestock, sewage treatment flocculation disinfectants and other products. Compared with the single polyhexamethylene guanidine, inhibitory effect of polyhexamethylene biguanide on bacillus subtilis, beer yeast and aspergillus niger is more effective.
