Fumed Silica is a non-crystalline, fine-grain with low density and high surface area in granule and powder form. The Surface Area of our Silica ranges from 100 to 400m2/g and the Average Particle Size ranges from 400 meshes to 2500 mesh. It is a counterpart to AEROSIL, WACKER HDK, CABOSIL, Tokuyama REOLOSIL, Ultrasil, Degussa series products.
Uses
The Fumes Silica and Precipitated Silica we produced is used widely in many areas, such as the shoe making, tyre industry, viscose-increasing agent for toothpaste, additives for foodstuff and medicines, and anti-inflammation agent in hygiene and fire-proof materials, etc.
Accordingly, the specification of that will be different. The Surface Area of the Precipitated Silica ranges from 100 to 230m2/g and the Average Particle Size ranges from 400 meshes to 2500 mesh. And the BET for the Fumed Silica ranges from 0 to 400 m2/g.
