"Billion" brand film type smart card prepaid gas meter is a new kind of gas meter, it's used for measurement of coal gas, natural gas and LPG with outstanding characteristics of prepayment, high accuracy, high sensibility and reliability, safe, long life-span etc. This kind of meter is the ideal gas measurement device in gas administration.
The computer, reader and special software are required for power vending station.
Before using, the user must go to the gas vending station to buy gas. The computer writes the credit amount and the original information to the smart card. User inserts the card into the meter, the information will be sent into the gas meter. The chip of the smart Card must be outward when inserting the slot. After the information of the card was sent to the meter, the card is empty. LCD display available credit with 4 integer number and 1 decimal fraction.
In gas using, the available credit in the meter will be less and less. When the available credit is equal to the alarm threshold, the gas meter will turn off automatically to remind the user to buy gas again. At this time, the user can turn on the meter by inserting the smart card to the slot.
When the LCD displays "0000.0", it means that the available credit in the meter is zero, the valve of the gas meter will turn off automatically and no any gas supply.
Three pieces 5# batteries are required. When the voltage of the battery is low, the valve will turn off automatically. Exchange the battery and the meter will turn on.
If the magnetic field disturbs the gas meter, it will turn off automatically.
When taking off the battery from the gas meter, the gas meter will shut down automatically.
To see the available credit amount and the total gas consumption just insert the smart card into the meter.
