Pipe description: Prestressed Cylinder Concrete Pipe, PCCP for short, is a kind of compound pipe. The producing process includes wrapping prestressed wires around the high-intensity concrete core, then spraying cement mortar on the surface of the pipe to protect the pipe. The steel cylinder and the steel bell and spigot are welded together; The bell and spigot have groove and rubber ring which make the flexible joint of slide rubber ring. PCCP has composite structure made up of steel plate, concrete, high-strength steel wires and cement mortar and characteristics of sealing well at the joint, high shock resistance, convenient and fast when installed, good antiseptic property, easy maintenance and so on.
Pipe standards: The design of PCCP adopts AWWA C304 and P. R. China CECS 140, and the production adopts AWWA C301 and GB/T 19685-2005.
