Uses: Profenofos is a pesticide of thiophosphate series. It is a wide-spectrum insecticide with easy biodegradation and a high bioactivity for antiloxic pests. It can be used to control pests in cotton, fruit trees and vegetables with an excellent effect on cotton.
Toxicity: Acute oral LD 50 for rats: 358 mg/kg body weight; Acute oral LD 50 for rabbit: 700 mg/kg body weight; Acute precutaneous LD 50 for rabbit: 472 mg/kg body weight; Skin and eye irritant: Moderate / mild; Inhalation for rats (LC 50-4 hrs): 3 mg/litre.
