Applications
PTA is mainly used in the production of polyester products, including polyethylene terphthalate (PET), follows reaction with glycol, reagent for alkali in wool and an additive to poultry feeds.
Storage and handling
Multi ply paper bag with sealed plastic liner or heavy gauge plastic bag. Check that all containers are clearly labeled and free from leaks.
Hazards and safety
The material is moderately discomforting to the gastrointestinal tract and may be harmful if swallowed in large quantity.
