Appearance:A pale yellow mobile oil with a faint flowery odour.
Stability: Stable >10 y in absence of light, at ambient temperature. In light, rapid oxidation and inactivation occurs; DT50 in sunlight 10-12 minutes. Also destroyed by alkali, and by clay. Heat >200 degree celsius leads to formation of less active iso-pyrethrins.
Brief introduction
Pyrethrin (Pyrethrum essential oil or pyrethrum extract) is an active insecticidal substance being extracted from a feverfew plant pyrethrum. It is a kind of neurotoxicants to insects which is an effective contact insecticide to types of insects by knocking down and killing insects rapidly but with low toxicity to human and warm-blood animals. Pyrethrin is a natural and ideal insecticide well-recognized in the world which can be quickly and fully dissolved but not easily resistant to other drugs.
Main effectiveness
It can target all biting and piercing-sucking typed insects including injurious insects to corps such as aphid, cabbage caterpillar, leafminer, potato beetles, plant hopper, tick and mite, as well as injurious insects including bug, mosquito, fly, cockroach and louse and so on. We have found targeted insects with little resisting ability during the 10 years application of the product.
