The ATOMERS heating cables are installed in the bottom of a max. 50 mm thick concrete layer with an efficient layer of insulation underneath. In comparison with water based heating, the placing of the heating cables closer to the surface means, that the heat will be released (or cut of) with practically no delay of time. Only very little heat is stored in the thin concrete layer so-consequently-the ATOMERS thermostat can control the room temperature very precisely to the benefit of both your comfort and your economy.

Wooden floors demand however extra attention. It is important to follow the maximum temperature recommendations of the floor manufacturer.
Wood is a natural material which contracts or expands depending on the temperature. This puts demands on a floor heating system to distribute the heat in a gentle and controlled way. Usually the wooden floor manufacturers prescribe a maximum temperature of 27 degree which must not be exceeded.
