Radio & TV Tower
TV towers are, typically, tall structures designed to support antennas for television. They are among the tallest man-made structures. TV tower mainly consist by tower foundation, body, ladder, antenna and other accessories. Some TV tower belong to self-support tower type, some Possessing an antenna attached to the tower's pinnacle, which in turn, is guyed on a horizontal cross (4 cross-like steel arms) fixed on the main body of the tower, TV Tower is mainly used for transmitting FM-/TV-broadcasting, at the same time, for mobile and/or other means of telecommunication. In the case of a mast radiator or radiating tower, the whole mast or tower is itself the transmitting antenna.
TV tower fabrication and design are more complicated, it is always located in city center or top of mountain, also being one tourist attractions, even with revolving restaurant on top of it. Then tower design must involve many aspects. Tower design and shape must be harmony with city building and environment.
Boxiang TV towers fabricated by solid steel pipe with angle or bracing members, which provides great strength, low weight and wind resistance, and economy in the use of materials. After fabrication all towers are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
