Characteistics:
1.TY·HJ107 is a kind of smelting flux of non-Mn, MID-Si and MID-Fluoride, which looks like grey-black pumice particles with the grain size of 10-60 mesh( that is 1.7-0.25mm ).
2.Direct current should be used in welding. When under higher arc voltage, the depth of fusion is shallow, while the arc is stable and the bead appearance is pleasing to eyes.
3. Meanwhile, the consumption percentage of this kind of flux is low and it is easy to detach the welding slag.
4. Because it contains more CaF2 and cryolite is also added in, the deposited metal's property of anti-porosity and anti-cracking is greatly improved.
5. In addition, the adding of Cr2O3 into the flux not only makes the welding bead pumice-like but also reduces the loss of Cr in the process welding of stainless steel.
Main applications:
1. Excellent surfacing layers can be gained when it is used in the build-up welding in conjunction with appropriate welding wires or bands (such as HOCr21Ni10, HOCr20Ni10Ti, HOOCr21Ni10, HOOCr24Ni12Nb, HOCr16Mn16, etc.).
2. It is suitable for the build-up welding of nuclear containers and petrochemical equipment's corrosion-proof layers, stainless cladding layers and pressure vessels.
3. In conjunction with welding wire HOCr16Mn16, it can be used in the build-up welding of the switch of austenitic manganese steel (Mn13) and welding of Nb-contained stainless steel, etc.
Performance of Surfacing Layers:
For the build-up welding of 50mm-thick 18MnMoNb steel plate, it can be used in the transition-layer welding in conjunction with HOOCr26Ni12 and in the the surface-layer welding in conjunction with HOOCr21Ni10 as band.
CAUTIONS:
1.Impurities such as oil soil, moisture and iron rust on the welding surface must be removed before welding.
2.The welding flux must be baked for 2 hours at the temperature of 300-350 centigrade before build-up welding.
