Rotary cylinder drier is also called rotary drum drier. It is the drier for treating a large amount materials. Because it operates reliability, operating flexibility, large treating quantities. It is widely used in metallurgy, building materials, food, light industry, chemical industry, coal, medicine and mining industries.
The wet materials is transmit to the hopper by the conveyor. Then the feeder machine put them into the feeder terminal. The pitch of feed pipe shoud be larger than the materials, it is easy for the material enter the drier.
The cylinder of drier is the rotary cylinder. The materials and the heating-carrying materials contact, there are also the heating-carrying agent and the heating-carrying enter into the cylinder together. Under the condition of gravity, they reach to the bottom. In the process of moving, the materials receive the heat, it makes the wet materials dried. Then the dried materials are sent out by the conveyer and screw machine.
There are shovelling plate on the cylinder. Its function is to increase the drying rate. Hot air and the smoke are always the heating-carrying materials.
