Product Description
Resistance thermometers, also called resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), are sensors used to measure temperature by correlating the resistance of the RTD element with temperature. Most RTD elements consist of a length of fine coiled wire wrapped around a ceramic or glass core. The element is usually quite fragile, so it is often placed inside a sheathed probe to protect it. The RTD element is made from a pure material, typically platinum, nickel or copper. The material has a predictable change in resistance as the temperature changes; It is this predictable change that is used to determine temperature.
They are slowly replacing the use of thermocouples in many industrial applications below 600 ° C, due to higher accuracy and repeatability
UST Sensor Technic owes her 20 years steady development to the precise workmanship and quality products.
The UST R&D Center located at Geschwenda, Ilm County, in Thuringia, Germany was founded in 1991. Since then, UST has grown into one of the world's leading developer and producer of ceramic sensors technology. As the largest manufacturer of temperature and gas sensor, the UST has been recognized as the industry standard.
In October 2008, UST set up the only workshop and sales center in Wuhan, China. Driven by the innovation and creativity, the UST China built its leading position based on the development with tailor-made solution of highest quality. with the leading measurement technology, UST China has developed great advantage on environment monitoring and energy saving technology with systematical solution and steady and efficient service.
