Product Description
Adhesive RS is mixture of resorcinol and stearic acid. In conjunction with methylene donor, it can effectively promote the adhesion between rubber and cord or cord ply via resinifying reaction during vulcanization.

Application Instruction
Adhesive RS leads to the adhesion reaction via reacting with the methylene donor, such as adhesive A, adhesive RA etc. This reaction will quickly start at the vulcanization temperature. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the adhesion action of matching system will disappear. Generally, rubber, filler and adhesive RS are added and mixed at first at a higher temperature, then the methylene donor and other ingredients are added simultaneously at final mixing stage.
2-5 phr of adhesive RS is suggested to be used with 2.5phr of adhesive A or the methylene donor. It should be noted that adhesive RS doesn't work without methylene donor.
Packing and storage
Adhesive RS is packed in paper bag lined with PE bag. The net weight per package is 20kg.
It is necessary to check if the product package is proper or not before shipping and storing. They should be stockpiled in a dry, clean and wool warehouse to avoid moisture, heat and exposal.
The valid storage period is one year.
