The service life of the prestressed concrete bridge is easily shortened by the water erosion. In the last several decades, many developed countries have been specializing in researches to improve the durability and prevention capability of the concrete. The present research has revealed the most effective solution to this problem: To lay a impermeable waterproof layer on the upper surface of the concrete bridge.

Hereby, we develop the High Polyester Modified Asphalt Waterproof Membrane --RWB-801, which specializes in the concrete railway bridge and the culvert construction with its permanent and high reliable performance.
This system can succeed to completely adhere the accidented surface with the BPR-203 substrate treatment agent especially for railway bridge and culvert, in which contains several kinds of anti-stripping agent to resist the infiltration spalling caused by water soakage.
When heated by the live fire, the surface of the RWB-801 waterproof layer can be made into hot-melt and adhesive liquid membrane which ensure the seamless bond with the concrete substrate of the bridge.
After being laid on the cement concrete protective layer, the special design surface of the RWB-801 high polymer modified bitumen membrane will bring a kind ""modified asphalt-quartz sand-silicate "" bonding interface with good bonding strength and shear resistance ability. This structure can undertake and transit traffic moving pressure to ensure the reinforced concrete structure of bridge will get a well protect during the construction engineering and long-term operation.
