Product Description
1. Application Area
SDM3 series moulded case circuit breaker mainly applies to distribution systems of 50Hz, rated voltage up to 690V, rated insulation voltage 690V, rated current up to 1600A. It's purpose lays in power distributing while protecting the entire system against overload, short-circuit, & undervoltage, etc. It can also work as infrequent ON/OFF switch under power system or motor in normal working status.
SDM3 breaker complies to GB14048.2 & IEC60947-2 standards.
2. Working Circumstance
2.1 Altitude of the installation place shall not be higher than 2000m(in case it's higher, do ask for advice from manufacturer first)
2.2 Circumstance temperature shouldn't be higher than+40ºC or lower than -5ºC,average temperature of 24h shouldn't exceed+35ºC.
Attention: If temperature breaks the limits issued above, users shall operate the product according to manufacturer's advice.
2.3 Working area shall not contain any explosive, metal corrosive or inductive media, the place also should weatherproof.
2.4Relative atmosphere humidity shall not exceed 50% when circumstance temperature is at 40ºC, relative humidity could be higher if temperature drops, the average humidity of the most humid month shall not exceed 90%, in the meantime, average temperature of this month shall not be lower than +25ºC, condensation on product surface due to temperature changing should be taken into consideration as well.
2.5 Working place shouldn't be shaky or exposed to rain & snow, connect upper terminals to power source while lower terminals to load, inclination on each side shall not exceed 5°.
2.6 Pollution class: 3.
2.7 Install type of main loop is III, install type of auxiliary loop & control loop which do not connect to main loop is II.
