Project Overview:
SHP is the short form for small hydropower plant. It makes use of hydraulic power driving of hydraulic machinery rotation, turns hydroenergy to mechanical energy, and generates electricity by transforming mechanical energy to electrical energy through the generator. Installed capacity of small hydropower plant in the world varies due to national circumstances. The capacity of SHP installed in United States is 15000kW and below, Japan, Norway is 10000kW and below, Turkey 5000kW and below. In China, the current definition of SHP means power plant with a performance of 25000kW and below and assorted local power supply grid.

Small hydropower equipments mainly include turbine, generator, governor, excitation system, electronic control equipment etc.
