Project introduction: Smelting production of stainless steel with rotary kiln through reduction-magnetic separation method, metallic iron reduced by the mineral is used as the collector of nickel so as to realize efficient recovery of nickel. Up to now, it has been considered as the most successful technology, and acknowledged as the most economic processing method for residual-type laterite-nickel ore.
Working principle: Raw ore is mixed for briquetting with the flux and reducing agent according to proportion after drying, crushing and screening. The agglomerate goes through drying and high temperature reduction roasting. The calcine goes through water quenching, crushing and screening and separation. Then, sponge granular ferronickel products are made.
