Properties: White solid whose melting point is 625ºC. Sodium monofluorophosphate accounts for 42% of the saturated solution at 25ºC. The PH value of its dilute solution (2%) is 6.5--8. Na2P03F.10H2O can be crystallized from its solution at 0ºC. If getting rid of the crystal water by heating, it will be hydrolyzed. Relative density 1.5.
Uses: Decayed tooth resistant agent and tooth desensitizer. In the ingredients of the toothpaste, it generally accounts for 0.7-0.76%. It has already substitued for sodium fluoride abroad. It is also used to clean the metal surfact and make special glass, as melting agent, etc..
