Solvent brown 41 Properties and Applications: Yellow brown. Soluble in ethanol, acetone and benzene. In concentrated sulfuric acid for brown, dilution after red brown; In concentrated nitric acid for orange solution, to yellow. Dye aqueous solution to join hydrochloric acid don't change color; Add 10% sodium hydroxide solution have orange precipitation.
