Table give the amount of dye in grams which nearly completely dissolves in 1 liter of the relevant solvent. the dye is added to the solvent in protions and the mixture is shaken at room temperature (22-25C) until a significant amount of dye remains undissolved . Metal complex dye, unlike inorganic salts in water,do not form true solutions. therefore, it is impossible to give absolute solubility figures. the values determined can only serve as a guide, particularly since in practice, almost always solvent blends or binder solutions are used.
