Description:
1. TY-SJ103 is a type of fluoride-alkalinity low hydrogen sintered flux, with its alkalinity approximately 2.5. Its grain is like light grey ball, size 10-40 mesh( 1.7-0.38mm).
2. Direct current should be used while the welding wire is contacted to the positive electrode.
3. The ampere of SJ103'S current carrying capacity can reach 1400A. TY-SJ103 is one of the few Chinese-produced big current carrying capacity welding flux.
4. It can be used for single-way or multi-way welding of 490Mpa grade steel, from which deposited metal gained is of properties of high impact tensile and crack resistance with extreme low harmful elements.
5. SJ103 can also be used for multi-way welding and narrow-gap welding of 590Mpagrade steels.
Applications:
Matching with corresponding welding wires of defferent grades, SJ103 can be used in these areas:
1. Normal steel structures Q345 and Q390;
2. Steels of boilers and pressure vessels, 19Mng, 16MR, and 15MnVR;
3. Steels of bridges Q345q and Q370q;
4. Pipeline steels X65, X70 and X80, etc;
5. Ship hulls steels A32, A40, and D40, etc.
CAUTIONS:
1. The welding flux must be baked for 2 hours at the temperature of 300-350 centigrade before build-up welding.,
2. A sieve of 10to40 mesh is needed to screen out broken slags and delicate power, when in recycle-use, to ensure the welding quality.
3. Some foreign substances such as rust, grease and moisture on the weldment should be removed before welding.
