Samarium Cobalt magnet is a kind of rare earth magnet, it is a kind of permanent magnet which is composed by specific ratio of samarium, cobalt and other metallic materials, developed in 1970. Its main characteristics are good magnet performance and high temperature resistance. Samarium cobalt magnet has high magnetic energy and high coercivity. Compared with the NdFeB magnet, SmCo is more suitable for working in high temperature environment. It has good corrosion resistance, generally, no coating.
