Properties: Colorless or white flowing sand powder with strong tart flavor. Relative density is 2.08. It is soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol. In moist air, it will absorb moisture and give off hydrogen fluoride. It will decompose into sodium fluoride and hydrogen fluoride if heated to 160ºC. Its acqueous solution can corrode glass. It is toxic.
Uses: Used as food protective agent, conservative agent and corrosion protection for specimens; etching glass, making sheet tin, processing textile fabrics, removing iron rust and leather borer and manufacturing tinplate.
Packing: Plastic woven bag lined with high-pressure polythene bag, net weight 25kg or 50kg.
