PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
An Alpha-amylase with excellent heat-resistance, ideal for desizing of textile fabrics incl. Cotton, silk, polyvinyl alcohol, rayon fiber, synthetic blended and yarn-dyed poplin:
1. Improve desizing rate to 90~95%, reduce desizing time
2. No damages to fabrics, make texture feels soft, full, smooth and bright
3. Enable desizing and colour-fixing at the same bath, thus reduce process flow and improve productivity

DESCRIPTION
HS-200 is a thermostable Alpha-Amylase produced by a modified strain of Bacillus licheniformis. It is an endoamylase that hydrolyzes alpha-1, 4-glucosidic bonds to quickly reduce the viscosity of gelatinized starch, producing soluble dextrins and oligosaccharides.
HS-200 has excellent heat resistance, fits to desizing of textile fabrics such as cotton, silk, polyvinyl alcohol, rayon fiber, synthetic blended and yarn-dyed poplin.

EFFECT OF pH
HS-200 is active over a wide pH range, depending on the application conditions. The optimal pH is 6.0~7.5. The stable pH range is 5.0~10.0 at 25° C(77° F).
EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE
Optimum temperature of Boli HS-200 ranges from 85 to 110º C.
CONCENTRATION OF CALCIUM
HS-200 requires a very low calcium concentration. Addition of 50 to 70 ppm (DSB) of calcium is sufficient to ensure enzyme stability.
INHIBITORS
Copper, titanium, and cobalt ions are moderate inhibitors for HS-200 whereas aluminum, lead and zinc ions act as strong inhibitors.
