Product Description
Turns rain, lake, and river water into drinkable water immediately!
Ideal for: Hiking, Fishing, Hunting, Survival, Military, Foreign Travel, Emergency, etc.
99.9999% removes bacteria with 0.1μ M ceramic membranes cartridge
Technical Data:
Size of ceramic membrane's aperture: 0.1 micron
Output: Approx. 500ml/min
Capacity: 5, 000 liters
Weight: Approx. 280g
Dimensions: φ 8.5× 21cm
Material: PC and ABS plastic, Ceramic, Nano-metal clusters media (NMC)
Characteristics:
(1) Unique dual ceramic membranes cartridge (Patent No. ZL200510033632.9)
--Entirely removes bacteria in water like Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi, Vibrio cholerae, Legionella pneumophila, Giardia intestinalis.
--Filters out particles down to 0.1 micron _ compare to the best commercially available unit that can only filter down to 0.2 micron!
--Entirely removes suspended contaminants of algae, worms, dusts, etc.
(2) Nano-metal clusters media (Patent No. ZL200610034167.5)
--Highly efficiently reduces residual chlorine and disinfection by-products.
--Highly efficiently removes heavy metal ions in water such as Pb2+, CD2+, Cr6+, As3+, etc.
--Efficiently decreases organic pollutants.
Normal Operation:
1) Screw the outer cover off the inner cover. Screw the inner cover off (counter-clockwise) until it's open. Remove ceramic cartridge from package, and then screw the ceramic cartridge onto the inner cover (part A in Fig. 1).
2) Pour untreated water into bottle. Screw inner cover onto (clockwise) the bottle.
3) Pull out the terminal of output hose from groove of inner cover (station 1 in Fig. 2) and clip it at station 2. Adjust its angle to let filtrated water flow into container (e. G. Out cover).
4) Connect the air hose with rubber bulb to gas inlet on the inner cover (Fig. 1, Fig. 2).
5) Close the air valve (clockwise) near by the rubber bulb.
6) Repeatedly squeeze the rubber bulb until the filtrated water flow out from the output hose.
7) After filling water container with filtered water or meeting your requirement, stop squeezing the bulb, open the air valve (counter-clockwise) to let the air inside the bottle release, otherwise the filtrated water will still continue flow out.
8) Disconnect the air hose with rubber bulb from gas inlet on the inner cover. Store it.
9) Screw off the inner cover, pour out the remnant water in the bottle, then screw the inner cover back onto the bottle.
10) Twist output hose back to groove of inner cover (station 1 in Fig. 2) when no water flow out. Make sure the output hose is inside the groove of inner cover (Fig. 3).
11) Fasten out cover onto bottle by turning it clockwise. Store the travel water filter in the bag.
Cleaning method:
If the filter pores of the ceramic are clogged, the ceramic needs to be cleaned with water, if necessary with the supplied abrasive paper.
