ALPINA TYRE GROUP Co., Ltd. is a professional Truck tyre and Farm tyre manufacturer. We produce a full range of tyres such as radial tyres and bias tyres. Alpina brand tires has successfully acquired the safety certificate issued by Chinese CCC, American DOT, European ECE and Gulf GCC. Its main performance index has reached advanced international level. ALPINA TYRE GROUP have been supplying our product to ALPINA MOTOR GROUP in South Africa for more than 5 years. We have built a excellent relation with them and have worked together with them on the development of new sizes and models which has proven itself into the South African market and achieved excellent mileage especially on their SUPER SINGLE 385/65/22.5( 20 ply) and the latest 425/65/22.5 (20ply) tyre which have been tested using the extra heavy coil carriers from Slabbert Burger Transport. Alpina Motor Group have tested and covered over 1000.000 kms with 50 trailers from Slabbert burger Transport and every time achieving a no tyre failure result. They also sold 25.000 PCS last year and became our priority customer care partner and also our partner into the broader African market.
We recently signed an co-operation agreement whereby we will assist them with the setting up of a new Truck retreading plant in Cape Town and in November 2012 the plant was officially opened and producing excellent quality with the assistance of our highly qualified group of engineers to ensure there retread quality is as good as our new tyres. ALPINA MOTOR GROUP plans to build more plant in the Port Elizabeth region and the Gauteng region to offer their customers a quicker turn around time on the retreading of tyres.
We have also developed a specially reinforced trailer tyre which will enable Alpina Motor Group to market these tyres at a very competitive price and also ensure the retreadability of the used casings at least twice and therefore reducing the cost per km to the transporter.
