Product Description
Tungsten carbide is a chemical compound that contains carbon and tungsten and is similar to titanium carbide. It was originally developed for use as a cutting tool, in machine tools applications, where it still finds wide use today. Cemented Tungsten Carbide is neither a metal nor is it a ceramic. It is a Cerametal although this isn't a widely used term. In most cases, tungsten carbide is simply referred to as carbide. Tungsten carbide alloys are prepared by reacting carbon and tungsten at a temperature of between 1400-2000C. The other method involves using a patented fluid bed process to mix Hydrogen and tungsten elements at a temperature of not less than 900C. Other methods are by the use of vapor deposition, which are still under investigation.

1. K01/k10/k20/k30Tungsten carbide is a semi-finished products. Which are extensively processed into Reamers, Drill Bits, Milling Cutters, Endmills, Face Millis, Shell Mills, Burs, Boring Cutter, Countersink Cutters, Gun Drills, tungsten carbide Thred Shavers, Gravers, Solid Engraving Tools, Solid Burrs, . All our carbide rods are made from Extrusion method and HIP Sintered. These are available in all of our grades. The stock we maintain is in the 'green' state, allowing us to provide you with custom cut to length sizes, eliminating your waste of unusable pieces.
2. Our rods from Diameter: 0.5mm---25.4mm, Length: 330mm or cut to length, POLISH / NOT POLISH AS YOUR REUQEST the Grade UK10 with Fine performance, suitable for processing of HRC? 5 chilled cast iron, die steel, heat-resistant alloy steel, non-ferrous metal processing, plastic materials, carbon fiber, etc. The Grade UK06 suitiable for HRC chilled cast iron, steel parts, aluminum alloy and non-ferrous material processing.
