Lotuxs 2um fiber laser system is a laser specifically developed for soft tissue surgery. It provides up to 50W of 2um continuous wave laser radiation to the tip of a flexible delivery fiber optic. The laser energy is delivered by the OPTIGUIDE* fiber optic delivery system.
It is safe in an aqueous irrigation and it provides superior haemostasis. The effect of the laser on tissue is independent of tissue vascularisation. These outstanding properties are due to the efficient absorption at the wavelength of 2.0 micron by the water molecule which is ubiquitous in any tissue.
