Difficult Procedures in Full Ball Valve
Full ball valve groove is deep and narrow, looks like "U". Width: 10mm_120mm; Depth: 14mm-28mm.
There is rubber seal inside of the ball valve, near to the welding seam, the rubber seal has the limit of temperature up to 180degree. So, when welding, the welding procedures must be right. Otherwise, the below problems would occur
A. Welding spatters would occur in the groove, lack of penetration, crack, air hole etc, those can not pass when "X" ray checking.
B. Welding high temperature can easily burn the rubber seal, which cause loss of pressure, and can not reach the standard.
C. High temperature will generate big welding stress, then, big deformation, even can become useless for the valve ball can not be opened.

Due to the particularity of the workpiece, (the special temperature requirements of inside plastic seal), in order to meet the requirement of not to damage the inside plastic seal, we use the micro wire submerged arc welding to reduce the heat input and the crevasse.
The available welding seam width is 12mm to 22mm, available wire diameter is Φ 1.2mm to Φ 2.0 mm. This welding mode can deslag automatically, also can improve working efficiency and reduce labor intensity.
