Bag Filter Housing
Material: CS (carbon steel), SS4 (304 stainless steel) and SS6( 316 stainless steel)
filter bag is supported by an inside metal basket. The incoming fluid is to flow out after filtered by the bag, thus the impurity is intercepted in the filter bag. 
 You can continue to use the filter system after changing the filter bag
Bag filter is typically used in applications requiring gross particulate removal

SS Filter housings come with SS retainer cage for bag supporting purpose. SS Bag Filter Housings also carry SS sealing disc for better sealing arrangement. SS Bag Filter Housings have inline configuration to minimize pressure drop. Flow direction is from inside to outside. They are rugged enough to withstand operating pressure up to 7 bar and temperature up to 70°C

scope of application
 They can be used in processing chemicals, petroleum derivatives, coolants, cutting oils, cleaning fluids, waxes, paints, inks, resins, varnishes, lacquers, pharmaceuticals, plasticisers, plastisols, food stuffs, vegetable oils and edible oils. They are particularly useful for filtering large volumes of high viscosity liquids.
Equipment Connections can be NPT, BSP and ASA screwed or flanged in the different configurations to suit the customer's requirements. All bag filters vessels are compatible with all standard snap ring filter bags as well as our other custom designed bags. These can be supplied in single or multiple bags in a vessel assembly.

Working Principle:
Solids are trapped inside the filter bag or strainer and easily removed when the housing is serviced. The SS Bag Filter Housings design provides a large sump area at the bottom of the basket for particulate accumulation.
SS Bag Filter Housings effectively removes dirt, pipe scale, and other contaminants from process liquids such as water, chemical and petroleum products. May be used as a strainer before a pump or as a filter after the pump.
