Established in 1991, Hangzhou Shuguang Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (SEA) is located in Hangzhou city, 21km away from the West Lake. It covers an area of 60, 000 square meters with total investment of USD 26 million. Production capability can reach USD 80 million annually. Currently there are more than 240 employees, with about 90 of college or junior-college level and 50 of engineering & technical qualification.

And products include: Epoxy resin insulators of cylinder, bushing, contactor, etc., for switchgear, vacuum circuit breakers, C-GIS devices, etc., display devices, disconnected switch, SF6 component, current & voltage transformers.

SEA has totally 56 production lines by APG process, with one line imported from Germany for one-step gelling & vulcanization molding of pressured liquid silicone rubber, and two lines for full vacuum gelling of epoxy resin. It has pressure gelling equipments by APG process, 80 various finishing devices, full-shielding testing room and various testing machines such as voltage resistant & partial discharge testing machine, X-ray defectoscope, DSC vitrification temperature tester, high&low temperature test chamber, universal testing machine, viscometer, helium mass spectrometer leak detector, horizontal&vertical burning tester, etc.

Approved by ISO9001Quality System, SEA is the member of Transformer Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association (CEEIA) and HV Switch Industry Association. All products are qualified by the State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC), Xian High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute, as well as Zhejiang Province Electric Power Company.

with independent center of R&D and molding, resilience system of production management and qualification, SEA is capable of design and production of various insulators and relative products. It has developed supervision process from raw material purchase to finished products delivery, and permanent customer track filing system for quality and service improvement.
