EP 408 is a dark colored, low odor, inactive sulfurized additive based on vegetable oil.
When used in combination with appropriate anti-wear additives, EP 408 provides excellent EP and anti-wear properties especially suited for metalworking fluids. Due to its low active sulfur content, EP 408 is also suitable for yellow metals.
EP 408 is soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. It is clear amber when blended with mineral oil at 5%.
