Fragrant pears are grown in the Korla area of Xinjiang Province in western China, west of the Taklamgan Gobi Desert and bordering Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. The area has hot, dry summers, and cold dry winters, with annual precipitation of 25 to 500 mm (1 to 20 inches), according to a USDA report. The area is watered by the Peacock River that comes from snow melt from the Tien Shan Mountains to the north.

It is only growing in Kuerle region of Xinjiang, It is only the pear in the world, only we this place have this pear according its terrain and climate.

Our orchards Cold-storage warehouses is 100, 000 tons, and the area of registered orchard is 26 sq. Km. (square kilometres).

A typical fruit weights 130 grammas, with a regular, classic pear shape. With a smooth, waxy skin, the ripe pears have a light green color, sometimes striped with red or with fine, reddish brown speckles. The flesh is milk-colored, with a fine, sweet taste, and a hint of acidity closer to the core. Eating a Korla fragrant pear will quench your thirst, and throughout China it's known as the healthiest fruit for autumn and winter, great for moistening the throat when you catch a cough or a cold. Full of natural goodness, the pear is rich in potassium, iron, vitamins A and C.

HACCP, EUREP GAP certificate
The Kuerle pear was developed more than a thousand years ago, and has been valued for its "super white" flesh, elongated shape, jade green skin, and special fragrance. Substantial quantities are now exported. The fruits are harvested when they've matured enough to contain about 12% sugars and organic acids in their cell fluids. By refractometer, my samples were indeed around 13%. They are small as pears go, around 3 inches /7.5 cm long, light green with a waxy feel to the skin, familiarly crisp and like a Shinsui or 20th Century.
