PHOENIXWELD SJ101 is a kind of neutral flux with the features of good bead appearance and easy slag removal: It is capable of providing excellent low temperature impact toughness.
4. Typical Applications
Single or multiple pass welding of low alloy structural steel, such as pipe, boiler, pressure vessel, bridge, ship, and etc.
5. Attention
Re-dry flux at 300-350C(572-662° F) for 60 mins before welding.
Remove rust, water scale, primar and other contaminants to obtain excellent weld deposit.
In condition of multi-layer welding, Low current and welding speed are required in backing welding of groove welding.
6. Package
Fluxes are packed in 25KG for moisture repellent bag, 25KG for bucket, 400KG for bulk bag.
